miserable

Not a great deal to blog on about really. Started playing on Laddies last week with mixed success and then inevitable tilt. I thought Hills was bad for rewarding muppet calls but Ladbrokes I find is far worst. At times even comical. I think I read on one of Rosie's post that they are losing numbers, from what I have seen it is no surprise. Over the period of a few days I counted that I had two beats go for me i.e. J10 v AJ and I spike 10. On the flip side I stopped counting at fifteen the amount of times I got my chips in well ahead before the turn only for sick runner runner etc to hit. Some players are calling all in with absolutely nothing and being rewarded. The stats just don't add up. If I get em in well ahead 15 times and still lose then I have to think to myself all is not fair. I accept that you are going to lose quite a few coin flips etc when ahead but surely not to the extent I am losing them. So next time I play it will be back on Hills - a far better site IMO.

I did deposit a tenner yesterday and at one point got it up to $54 but that was as good as it got. I played cash and put it all in with QQ against a bigger stack who called me with 5h4h and hit flush. That seems to be the site for you though. Having said that earlier this year I was playing a live cash game and was dealt KK on my BB. Raise and a call by the time it gets around to me. We are playing £2 £4 and I know I need to call pot as a lot of these guys tend to have more money than sense. I pot it and get a call and a pot again. Basically my £200 I sat down with went in. Get an insta call and the other guys sits there and umms and argghs and eventually call. A guy says 'Well we know you are playing aces - what have the other two got'. I elect to turn my cards over but the other two don't. Just over a £600 pot we are playing for so well worth winning. Flop 6d 10h 4c. Good flop for me I think. Turn Qd River 2d. I am worried about trip queens of AdKd but thats about it. I flip over my kings as does the original raiser. Not too often that happens. The other guy flips over 7d 8d. Yep fucking great. 'I just fancied it' he said. Wish I had that money to just fancy it!

Away from poker I am still missing my ex like crazy. Its her birthday this week and I can't help wondering who she is with, what she will be doing etc. I would give anything to be with her. When I had the chance to be with her and give up poker I chose to give up on her and me instead. Feeling very down as you can probably tell, been in tears again on and off but mainly because of how fucked up my life has become and how I cannot see a way to make things better. Hopefully things will pick up. Been reading Would-Be's blog and he seems to be going through a similar thing. Basically life is pretty shit right now.
